Is it difficult to change from my present support company to SCT?

No, SCT realise that the smooth transition from your present supplier may be a concern for you?

SCT has many years experience in providing support to customers who have switched from their present support company for various reasons. Whether your company is a large Retail estate or Bespoke Retail chain we can assure you that your Customers and Stores and  will not be affected by the transition. The Store Managers are always delighted with our level of service and efficiency.

Transition Procedure

1 Appointment of SCT Transition manager to work closely with the Customer Transition manager

2. Project Definition Workshop (PDW) involving all key stakeholders resulting in Definition of Requirements (DOR)

3. Preparation and Sign Off on Project plan and key Milestones

4. Regular Review Meetings to Monitor Progress and adapt program as required

5. Stakeholder Sign Off on DOR delivered.

We have old EPoS equipment, how would SCT support the estate?

SCT have inherited many EPoS and IT estates with old equipment. We have developed relationships with many of the IT industry leaders such as HP, Dell, DigiPos, Nixdorf Wincor, IBM, Box Technologies, MSI, VISTA Retail, and Vodat International that can provide direct or similar equipment replacement.

Is it easy to change my contract cover if my company’s situation changes?

Yes, your SCT account manager will have monthly or quarterly review meetings to discuss the level of service and cover.

Can SCT provide helpdesk and on-site support after normal business hours on Weekends and Bank Holidays? 

Yes, SCT can provide a comprehensive support service on a 364 days basis that combines the following services:

  • Helpdesk – from 7.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday – 10.00 to 20.00 Sunday
  • Helpdesk & On-site support provided on Bank Holidays, Weekend and After normal business hours
  • On-site Break / Fix – 4 hour response available throughout Ireland 

What is SCT’s Support Coverage outside the major cities?

SCT is based in Dublin 12 with depots in Cork, Waterford, Tipperary and Belfast.  With engineers based throughout the 32 counties of Ireland, SCT are never far away from most locations in Ireland.

SCT already provide support in Northern Ireland and in conjunction with our UK and International partners we can provide support throughout the UK and Europe.

Does SCT provide an Installation and Commissioning Service?

Whether it is a Turnkey Installation, Training and Services solution or simply ‘On Request’ IMACD (Installation, Move, Add, Change & Disposal services) our Engineers and Support Staff are ready to assist. SCT have installed, commissioned and provided “live on the opening day” on-site support for many clients including 180+ New Store installations for one large customer.
