- 1. Project Management Services
An appointed PM will manage the project in partnership with the I.T. department. From the day the store opening date is provided the PM will manage all aspects of the project on behalf of the I.T. department up to the grand opening. This includes:
- Liasing with contractors, property, construction and the I.T. department, one point of contact
- Site Surveys
- Working/Liasing with Eircom / BT
- Ensure time-lines are met

- 2. Stock Management
We hold both consignment stock and spares stock on behalf of our customers. By providing weekly stock reports to our customers we accurately manage future stock requirements for projected store openings and spares requirements.
We distribute the spares stock across our support locations to ensure the customer’s estate has optimum coverage in the event of Hardware failures.
We also manage warranty return cycles on behalf of our clients for all third party Hardware including Chip and Pin Devices, POS etc.
- 3. Staging
SCT can stage / setup multiple POS units in our testing laboratory for pre installation testing.
- 4. Site Surveys
We can provide detailed site inspections at various stages of the installation. This could prove extremely useful if the client is moving into units previously occupied and can help determine state of existing telecoms, cable management etc.
- 5. Networking
SCT has been installing data cabling for over 15 years for many UK, Irish and International retailers.
In 2009 SCT received individual company training from Datwyler GmBH.
Instructors from Datwyler Cables in Altdorf, Switzerland came to Dublin where they instructed and certified our install engineers.

SCT engineers have the knowledge, tools and equipment to resolve almost any network issue in one visit.
When a Till or Back office issue leads the I.T. Department to suspect a permanent link problem whilst the engineer is onsite he has the ability to fix the issue there and then.
- 6. Pre & Post Installation Checks
Again where required an installation Engineer can attend site after installation is complete and usually the day prior to opening to carry out final pre live checks.
This may involve signing on all tills, carry out a debit/credit test and confirm all Systems are 100% Functional.
